This page is dedicated to the client or homeowner in helping you understand more about us and some of our protocols before, during and after a paranormal investigation.

          We know how hard it may be to contact an organization like ours, to come in your place of residence and to help you in dealing with possible "ghosts". We want you to feel as comfortable as possible when contacting our organization.

          GHOST of Pinellas does not and will never charge a fee for an investigation. Paranormal Investigators who DO charge money for this type of investigation may not really be in this field for the science aspect. So be careful and cautious who you have come into your home. No one can really put a price on something that may not even exist in your home. We do not claim to be experts in this study. There is no such thing as an "expert" in this kind of field. No one should claim to know anything about something they may no nothing about? The truth is, we may never know what happens after death, until we, ourselves actually pass away. We may tell you your home is haunted by this type or that type of haunting. But all this means is that these explanations are the most LOGICAL reasons of this kind of study. GHOST of Pinellas is a respectable organization with knowledgable people dedicated in helping you, the client. Our main goal is to help you understand the supernatural and how to cope or deal with any of these possible spirits. 

Remember that these are just all theories and/or the most logical reasons in this type of research.   

          We do believe in spirits, ghosts and entities, but we do not believe every place we visit or investigate has a ghost or spirit. In fact 8 out of 10 times, we can eliminate a possible spirit or ghost by using scientific methods and equipment.

          What we do, is strictly to aid and assist you in dealing with the spirits that may be present in your establishment. We also gather evidence and conduct  research on your property to find any history we can to help aid the investigation. Remember, we want to find answers just as much as you do, in who or what might be taking place in your home. We always have the up most respect for you, your family and your home. Remember, we put YOU first, and our evidence second. GHOST of Pinellas has four members that work as medical professionals, so it is our job to help and care for anyone with ANY KIND of problem.

          Please keep in mind that ALL of our members are volunteers and are taking time out of their busy schedules to help aid you in your home or business.  Sometimes, we may drive for hours to come help you, so please remember this as we help you at your location. If you are looking for instant gratification, then we can not help you! No paranormal team in the world can give instant gratification. We would love nothing more than to give you answers on the night we investigate, but it is not possible. We understand that you may be scared or terrified of what is happening in your home or place of business, but please remember that ghosts and spirits are very hard at investigating. We cannot possibly give you answers on the night of investigation, but after all the evidence is handed in, then we can determine what may be taking place at the location.

Below are some requirements for an investigation:

        -It is recognized that only the client/owner and immediate family or roommates residing within the home to attend the investigation. This is to ensure our protection and to make sure we are gathering evidence that is not contaminated in any way.

        -No one, except for a member of GHOST of Pinellas will be allowed near the paranormal equipment. This is to ensure our protection as well as yours, by getting the best evidence we can.

        -Dogs or animals must be kept in another room or outside for an investigation if possible. Safety is our number one priority to all involved in this investigation. This is also to ensure that we are getting 100% actual evidence by eliminating all possible sounds or noises.

        -Must be willing to sign a Permission to Investigate Form and other necessary forms.

        -We understand whatever you do in your home is your business, but GHOST of Pinellas will not, under any circumstance, remain at a residence where anyone is under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.

        -We want to make sure you inform all adults living at the residence regarding our investigation. We do not want any "uninformed" family member arriving home to see an investigation being performed in their home by strangers.

         -You may want to consider getting a sitter for any small children that may be present if at all possible. Strangers showing up at your residence with equipment in searching for ghosts may be confusing and scary for them, especially if the subject has not been discussed to them.

        -House or residence may not be in an unfit or unsafe manner for our investigators, as stated below (Reasons for temination or suspension of an investigation).

        Like most paranormal research groups, we try to eliminate all possible causes to the paranormal cliams by finding any logical explanations for any of these occurrences. For example, if you hear a thumping or banging in a wall, we will try to find a source for that thumping or even try to re-create it. Our methods in these investigations is to ensure that we are getting 100% actual evidence. We cannot present you with a sound, that may just be a natural occurring one. 

        It is necessary for a GHOST of Pinellas member to "inspect" the home (both inside and outside) to exclude any hazards that may be present. Safety is our number one priority, and no ghost or spirit is worth in getting injured or hurt. 

        Before we arrive at your home or location, we will call ahead of time to confirm the time, address and any parking issues before hand. We also will confirm the length and time-span of the investigation.

        Before we investigate your residence, you must sign 3 forms stating you, the owner, are giving us permission to conduct research and evidence at your location. You must also agree to our requirements for an investigation. This is to establish safety guidelines for our investigators. Please see requirements above for more information.  

        Next, we will interview you and any other eyewitnesses that have experienced the ghostly activity. By interviewing and asking in depth questions, we are getting all of the information about what type of haunting, if any at all, may be taking place. It is a requirement of our investigators to ask specific questions before, during and after all investigations. It is anticipated that you answer all questions truthfully and to the best of your ability without aggressive behavior. GHOST of Pinellas may have to ask some minor personal questions in order to get a better understanding of the activity in the home or residence. You have the right to refuse any question at any time.

        The next step is to conduct the actual investigation. We set-up the equipment through out the location. We also set-up a "base" area (4' table) where we can have room to monitor our cameras on a TV monitor & laptops. Next, we walk through the entire premises, with our equipment gathering any evidence we can. In this part of the investigation, members will try to re-create any sounds, feelings or visual anomalies as stated in the interviews. We conduct the actual investigation usually anywhere between the hours of 9PM to4AM, depending on the claims made by the eyewitnesses. Sometimes investigations may take 3 hours to complete. Sometimes investigations may take 4-8 hours to complete, all depending on the size of the location and the claims stated by you, the owner. 

        After the investigation and after all of the field reports have been turned in by the investigators, we will analyze all of our equipment. This includes the hand-held cameras, audio recorders, infrared cameras and any still photography taken during the investigation. After the "analysis" phase, we notify you to discuss what we captured and/or did not capture. Sometimes when we capture an anomaly, it does not necessarily mean you have ghosts. It simply may mean we couldn't come up with a logical explanation for that anomaly at the time of review. If we come up "empty-handed" after an investigation, this simply means that we did not find any evidence of ghosts, at that time span during the investigation.

        It may take up to a week or more to get the completed results of our investigation. If it takes any longer than a week to find out the results, GHOST of Pinellas management will notify you when they will have the results of the investigation. A return to the location may be necessary to confirm our findings or to gather further research of the location.

          GHOST of Pinellas' Founder or Co-Founder will determine if a home, residence or surrounding area is deemed safe to conduct an investigation. If the location is determined to be dangerous or hazardous in any way, GHOST of Pinellas will contact you to establish an agreement. If one cannot be made, any investigations scheduled will be suspended or terminated until further notice. Some of the reasons are stated below.

          -Unsafe area, neighborhood or location (Including suspicious vehicles, persons or establishments or any possible gang activity)

          -Any firearms or weapons present in the home visible to any members 

          -Aggressive, threatening or vicious animals (dogs, loose birds, snakes etc)

          -Any illegal drug usage (Will be reported to the appropriate authorities)

          -Unsafe residence (Including exposed nails or hardware, unstable flooring or steps and/or broken glass or metal)                                                

           -Offensive attitude or behavior

             Even though we are here to assist you in your home, GHOST of Pinellas will not put any of it's members in a dangerous situation. We may try to find other means of helping you.

             GHOST of Pinellas has a standard protocol list that we must follow in order to keep a creditable team of investigators.

             -Preliminary interview with you either at your residence or over the phone

             -After the preliminary interview has been reviewed, a GHOST of Pinellas team member will meet to discuss if an investigation will take place.

             -After our decision to accept your case, you will be notified of our decision to schedule an investigation on a certain date and time. (Most convenient for you, but be advised we usually conduct an investigation on Saturday nights.)

             -On the night of investigation, you will be contact by a founder of GHOST of Pinellas, prior to our arrival, to confirm the address, location, parking and time. It is a must, for you and 2 or more of our members to complete a full tour of the premises to pinpoint the activity and to locate any possible hazards that may be present. (Your personal space may be excluded from this tour at your request). This tour also helps our members know where to set-up the equipment to gather the best possible evidence.

          Below is some information about your privacy and confidentiality for an investigation. 

          If we find any evidence in your home, we may want to feature some of the findings on our website. If the investigation of your location or residence is featured on our site all names, address, and personal information will be changed. Photographs will not show any identifiable faces, addresses or descriptions of the location.

          You must also sign a privacy statement regarding the level of confidentiality you would like. These include three levels of confidentiality. The first level is, we may not release ANY part of the investigation (excluding results that do not show anything identifiable). The second is, we may release SOME parts of the investigation (name & address changes etc.). And the third level of confidentiality is, we may release ANY part of the investigation, (including names). It is a requirement for you to sign this form and check the level of confidentiality, before we investigate.
