1. What is GHOST of Pinellas?

   Ghost Hunters Of Science & Technology of Pinellas, GHOST of Pinellas for short or GHOST for really short, is an all-volunteer paranormal investigation & research organization that specialize in helping out people in need by investigating supposed haunted locations. GHOST was founded in early 2007, by Paranormal Investigators Mark Manarino and Shannon Baggerly. GHOST of Pinellas is recognized for starting the online web series, PARANORMAL TRUTH and researching the realm of paranormal phenomena in and around Pinellas County, FL.

2. Why investigate haunted locations?

   The main answer to this question is to help people deal with what might be taking place in their home. Statistics show that 73-75% of Americans believe in ghosts. Out of that percentage, there are people who have experienced some sort of spirit or ghostly activity in their home. Lets face it, ghosts and spirits are all around us, everywhere, everyday, sometimes we may experience one and sometimes we may not. But people who feel they have a true ghost problem can call a paranormal investigator in to find out exactly what is going on.

3. How do you investigate a haunted location?

   GHOST of Pinellas investigates by trying to “disprove” or come up with natural explanations for the paranormal occurrences by using new experiemental paranormal equipment and common sense. First, we interview all eyewitnesses to gather information about the claims and the location we are investigating. Secondly, we gather evidence by walking through the location with various types of paranormal equipment and lastly we conduct a sit-down paranormal investigation.

4. What type of paranormal equipment do you use?

   GHOST of Pinellas uses all kinds of equipment to try and gather evidence of the paranormal. Some equipment is used to gather electromagnetic, tempature and motion readings and some equipment is used to capture video, audio and photographic evidence. We use digital cameras, DVR systems with infrared cameras, video cameras with IR & full-spectrum lighting, real-time EVP equipment, digital thermometers, electromagnetic field meters, EM pumps, infrared photography, motion censors, IR lighting, strobe lights, laser grids and digital audio recorders. This equipment is used in every investigation.

5. After GHOST comes to my house, what happens next?

   Well a few things may happen after an investigation. One thing about paranormal activity is that activity may happen at any time and sometimes it may be active right after we leave. After an investigation, GHOST of Pinellas will review and analyze all of the camcorders, infrared cameras, audio recordings and any other equipment that were recording during the investigation. We will look at all of the still photography taken at the residence and try to locate any possible paranormal anomalies. After the review of the evidence, we will return to the location to see if we can recreate any possible “evidence” that was found during the analysis. If there wasn’t any evidence found, we may re-schedule another investigation to try to gather any other evidence that may be present.

6. How long does an investigation take to finish?

   An investigation, depending on the claims of activity and the size of the residence, can take up to 7 hours to complete. Sometimes, it may only take 3 hours to complete. This includes interviewing the witnesses, setting up the paranormal equipment and a thorough investigation of the entire location.

7. How long does it take to receive the results of an investigation?

   Usually depending on the length of the investigation and depending on how many active cases we are currently investigating, it will usually take anywhere from 5 days to 2 weeks to receive the conclusion of our investigation. If it takes any longer than 2 weeks, a GHOST of Pinellas founder will contact you by phone and notifiy you when the results will be completed.

8. Does GHOST of Pinellas charge for any services?

   No, GHOST of Pinellas does not charge money for an investigation or for any services that are rendered.

9. How many people will it take to conduct a paranormal investigation?

   Again, this depends on the size of the residence and the claims of paranormal activity. GHOST has more than 10 members. We may be in need of all members or just a select few.

10. Can I be involved?

    Yes you can be involved within the investigation process. We usually have a team that sits in front of our laptops and monitors and will have a team investigating. It is your house and we respect that fact. We prefer that you be involved due to the fact that spirits may be attracted or at ease with the homeowners present.

11. How can I join your team?

1. What is Paranormal Truth?

   Paranormal Truth is an online TV series founded by and featuring members of GHOST of Pinellas. Paranormal Truth is featured on People's TV Network (PTN) and premiered on Friday, Novemeber 13th 2009!

2. Where can I watch episodes of Paranormal Truth?

   Paranormal Truth can be viewed "on demand" at www.peoples tvnetwork.com. However season 2 will start in December 2010 while a season 1 DVD will be released shortly after!
